Pastor Amanda Williams

Pastor Amanda Williams is the CEO and Executive Director of Cover the Children Ministries Incorporated (CTCM). Cover the Children Ministries is headquartered in Carson, California. She is a woman of great faith, called to intercession for the children.

Her early Christian experience is rooted in the Apostolic Pentecostal faith. On February 11, 2004 she became a member of the City of Refuge. Upon completion of her New Members training she began to serve at the City of Refuge. On May 15, 2004 she was employed as the church Finance Administrator. Pastor Amanda had many duties. She participated as a member on several of the ministry boards. She acted as the focal point of many of the church’s auxiliaries when they need spiritual or natural assistance. Since that time Pastor Amanda has terminated her employment at the City of Refuge and now plays an integral part in the leadership at Life Changing Ministries under the direction of Dr. Dist. Elder David Horn and First Lady Lena Pearl Horn. Pastor Amanda has been currently blessed with a position working for a thriving Chinese Corporation named Minmetals, Inc. L.A. in Brea California as an Office/HR Manager.

Six years ago during intercession for the children; the Lord birthed Cover the Children’s Ministries Inc. in Pastor Amanda’s spirit. While in prayer she asked the Lord “what do you want me to do?” He spoke to her through His Word from Luke 4:18 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised. Convinced that the Lord had given his instructions, she assumed her position and answered the “High Calling” of leading CTCM. Since the inception of the vision Pastor Amanda has worked tirelessly to “Cover the Children” in prayer, giving’s and Love.

Pastor Amanda is a woman of excellence. She holds a Bachelors degree in Vocational Education and a Masters Degree in Public Administration and with a focus on Finance both received from Long Beach State University; she’s also currently studying for a Master/Doctoral Degree at Biola University; Talbot School of Theology. An administrator and entrepreneur, Pastor Amanda is the founder and CEO of AUPCS, Bookkeeping and Income Tax Services located in Carson, California.

Pastor Amanda is a servant who believes in working in the field. She is always ready to roll up her sleeves and love all of God’s people. The fruit of peace is her guide and love is her motivation. She has laid down her life to serve the Lord. A called intercessor, she has seen her prayers move mountains. She believes if it is in the Word of God she can speak it. “I serve a God who does big things” states Pastor Amanda. She has great expectations of God in her life, ministry and the lives of others. “Oh give thanks unto the Lord for he is good” and his goodness have been shown to this humble servant.

The Lord has graced Pastor Amanda with the anointing, wisdom and passion to lead Cover the Children’s Ministries Inc. This woman of God has found great favor with God and man. Her heart is submitted, her spirit is humble and a mind is set to work for the Lord. Pastor Amanda says of the Lord; you are worthy to be praised!
